Job Description

Operate and enhance existing trading systems for a major NYC bank: pre/post-deployment verification, application control scripts, monitoring integrations, DR/BCP testing, server provisioning, production incident troubleshooting. This is an operations/development-support role. Rate: $50-53/hr on W2 (possible C2C), 6-month initial contract with possible extension or hire. Hybrid, 2-3 days per week in office.

Key Requirements

  • 5 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Linux: command line, shell scripting
  • Relational databases and SQL, query optimization
  • Job automation tools (Tidal, Autosys, Control-M)
  • Release packaging and deployment (Rundeck, Ansible)
  • Runbooks and operational procedures
  • SDLC and Agile
  • Communication; L3 support during NY hours
